For fashion brands and retailers
Every shopper gets their size on your product page. Fewer size returns.
TryYourSize recommends a size to each shopper, for each product, from their own measurements. It shows next to your size picker, so they order one size instead of two. And if they want, one click shows the garment on their own body.
On Shopify, install the TryYourSize app: no developer needed, and your products and sizes import themselves. Other platforms add one line of code. Live today for T-shirts and jeans.
How it works
Your shopper measures once and gets their size on every product. Your team connects the store and sends the size specs you already have.
For your shoppers
-
1Measures once
Five measurements with a tape, about 90 seconds, guided step by step. No photos. Adding more measurements makes it more precise.
-
2Gets their size on your page
A size recommendation next to your size picker, in your store's font and colours. The size is selected for them.
-
3Orders one size
One size in the bag instead of two. The one that would have gone back never ships.
-
4Sees it on their body
If they want, one click shows the garment on their own body: where it has room and where it presses, in centimetres.
One body, every store
A shopper who measured at another store using TryYourSize gets their size on your page on the first visit, with one sign-in. Every store that joins makes the next one easier, for shoppers and for you.
For your team

Connect your store
Install the Shopify app, or your developer adds one line of code. Products and sizes come in by themselves.
- 22–3 h
Send your size specs
The spec sheets or size charts you already have. We import them for you during the pilot; your technical designer approves.

Go live
Turn it on for the styles with the most size returns. Half your traffic is held out, so you see the effect on returns.
Their size, on your product page
A small "Size guide" link next to your size picker. For a measured shopper it shows their size and selects it. One more tap, if they want, shows the garment on their body.

The store's own page and styles, on desktop and on a phone; the size guide takes them on. Render and numbers: the engine's recorded result for size 32 on sample body A.
How it fits into your store
On Shopify, install the TryYourSize app for Shopify: no developer needed, and your products and sizes import themselves. Other platforms add one line of code; the details are in the docs.
Shopify Pilots
- Install the TryYourSize app.
- In the theme editor, add the "Size guide" block under the size picker.
- Save. Products and sizes sync by themselves.
Other platforms Available
Any storefront: your developer adds one line of code. The size guide follows your store's font and colours. Instructions are in the docs.
Your iOS and Android apps In development
The same size guide inside your own shopping app, with the shopper's same profile.
Your catalog, from what you have
Garments come from the documents your team already uses. The more precise the source, the closer the simulated garment.
The pilot week
- Day 030-minute call: which styles, which files you have.
- Day 1Connect the store. 15 min.
- Day 1–3Send spec sheets; we import them. 30–60 min of your technical designer.
- Day 5–7Your technical designer approves each fit group. 1–2 h.
- Day 7Live on 20–40 styles, with a hold-out group.
- +30 daysReturns review per style.
Your team, in total: about 3–4 hours, none of it engineering.
Why it pays
Every size return you avoid saves shipping both ways, handling and often the item itself.
- Size is one of the most common reasons clothes are returned. It is also one you can fix before the order is placed.
- Unsure shoppers order two sizes. At least one of them comes back.
- The largest fashion retailers build their own sizing teams. You get the size on every product without building one.
- Large companies in the EU may no longer destroy unsold clothing. A return you cannot resell stays on your books.
A pilot that proves itself
Every pilot runs as an A/B test on your own traffic, so the change in size returns is measured, not promised. If size-related returns fall by less than 5% in the first 90 days, the platform fee is refunded.
Learn how it's computed →
For technical designers. Three inputs in physical units: tape measurements following ISO 8559, your pattern per size, and your fabric's measured properties. A product that fails validation shows no fit at all.
Measured back against your spec
Every point of measure is measured again on the pattern pieces. Widths are flat halves, as on a spec sheet.
Checked before anyone sees it
Sewn edges must match. Here the outseams differ by 10.7 mm, so Studio flags it next to the piece.
The answer per zone, in units
A recorded result for on sample body A. Pressure: fabric on skin. Ease: garment minus body girth.
Engine
| Level | You provide | Garment |
|---|---|---|
| T0 | Size chart | Inferred from the chart |
| T1 | Spec sheet with grading | ±0.5–1 cm |
| T2 | DXF patterns, fabric data | Exact pattern |
| T3 | Physical sample check | Validated on the sample |
Your shoppers' data stays theirs
- Stores never see shoppers' measurements. You receive the size and the fit, nothing else.
- GDPR built in. Shoppers can see, export or delete everything, at any time.
- Single sign-on and roles for your team. Designers, merchandisers and analysts each see what they need.
- Every change is logged. Owners and admins see who changed what, and when.
Security details →
- Shopper data
- Stores receive size events. No endpoint lets a brand, or our staff, read a shopper's body; it is not a permission that can be granted.

- Sign-in
- Password, email code, passkey or Google, with MFA. SAML/OIDC single sign-on and SCIM provisioning on Enterprise.

- Owner, Admin, Developer, Designer, Merchandiser, Analyst, Billing; optionally limited to some brands.
- Audit log
- Configuration changes, key actions and staff actions, append-only, in Studio and through the API.

An example
A store with 200,000 visitors a month on product pages. If 15% of them check their size, that is 30,000 size answers. The first 2,500 are free; 27,500 × €0.015 = €412.50 a month on Growth (the €299 fee is already inside that). A store with 20,000 visitors gets about 3,000 size answers and pays the €299 fee.
15% is our planning assumption for how many product-page visitors open the size guide; your pilot measures the real number.
Questions
Which garments work today?
T-shirts and jeans. More categories follow as pilots need them. Until a category is ready, its products show no size rather than a guess.
What do shoppers have to do?
Measure once with a tape: five measurements, about 90 seconds, guided step by step. They can add more for extra precision. After that, every store that uses TryYourSize knows their size with one sign-in: their email and a code. No photos.
Do we see our shoppers' measurements?
No. You receive their size and the fit. The measurements belong to the shopper, who can delete them at any time.
Do we need a developer?
Not on Shopify: install the app and add the block in the theme editor. On other platforms, a developer adds one line of code.
Does it work with Shopify?
Yes. Install the TryYourSize app for Shopify and add the "Size guide" block in the theme editor. No developer needed: your products and sizes import themselves. On other platforms, a developer adds one line of code; the docs have the details.
How accurate is it?
It depends on what you send. From spec sheets with grading, the simulated garment is within 0.5–1 cm of yours. We are running a body accuracy study following ISO 20947 and will publish it.
Will it look like our store?
Yes. The size guide takes your store's font and colours. Your developer can adjust it further.
